Phoenix has collaborated with The Women’s Project Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, The Tank Theatre, The DR2 Theatre, The Ma-Yi Theatre Company, The Parsnip Ship Podcast, The Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop, and The Stay True Theatre Company. Phoenix acted in Blink and You’ll Miss It which was screened at the Big Apple Film Festival and Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival. Phoenix is currently training at the Atlantic Acting School in their Evening Conservatory program. They have also completed improv and sketch comedy training at both the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
They have served as a Production Fellow with Third World Newsreel and as a Digital Connections Filmmaking Fellow with Hook Arts Media. Also assisting on media projects while interning with FilmNation, The Smithsonian Channel and The Asian American Writers' Workshop.
Phoenix gives thanks to Lenapehoking, the ancestral land of the Lenape people. Born to Korean immigrants who came to New York City, Phoenix was born in New Jersey, spending their weekdays in the suburbs of New Jersey and weekends in Flushing, Queens. They are the youngest of three siblings and their acting journey started as a child, making films with their neighbor and friends
