Phoenix has collaborated with The Women’s Project Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, The Tank Theatre, The DR2 Theatre, The Ma-Yi Theatre Company, The Parsnip Ship Podcast, The Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop, The Forager Theatre, and The Stay True Theatre Company. Screened at the Big Apple Film Festival and Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival, Phoenix acted in the short film Blink and You’ll Miss It. They will be completing the Evening Conservatory at the Atlantic Acting School starting Fall 2025. Phoenix has also completed training at The Upright Citizens Brigade and The Brooklyn Comedy Collective. 

Phoenix has served as a Production Fellow with Third World Newsreel and as a Digital Connections Filmmaking Fellow with Hook Arts Media. They’ve assisted on media projects while interning with FilmNation, The Smithsonian Channel and The Asian American Writers' Workshop. Phoenix is a Teaching Artist with Hook Arts Media, engaging with highschool students across the New York Tri-State Area. Phoenix is also a certified Full Spectrum Doula who trained with The Lifewerq Project and Ancient Song Doula Services.

Phoenix gives thanks to Lenapehoking, the ancestral land of the Lenape People. With roots in both New Jersey and New York City, Phoenix spent their weekdays in suburban New Jersey and weekends in Flushing, Queens, and Manhattan. The youngest of three siblings, Phoenix was brought up in a Korean working-class immigrant family and community. Their journey into acting began in middle school when they discovered a camcorder and started creating short films and comedy skits with their neighbor and friends. These early moments of creativity gave them a deep sense of joy and agency, planting the seeds for their passion for storytelling.
